Corey Ruby

Corey Ruby is a self-taught freelance Makeup FX Artist and body painter from Davenport, Iowa. Raised on a lifelong love of horror films, Corey spent much of his early life drawing and painting before pursuing a career in practical effects and film production.

Since entering the film industry in 2011, Corey has worked professionally as a Makeup FX Artist on a wide variety of films, commercials, music videos, and creative productions. His work focuses on bringing imaginative concepts to life through practical effects, body painting, and visual storytelling.

In 2018, Corey expanded into body painting as a creative outlet between film projects. Combining traditional brush techniques with airbrushing, he developed a distinctive style known for seamless transitions, bold color palettes, and highly detailed artistic designs.

NXP Pasties were originally created out of necessity for the models Corey worked with during body painting sessions. What began as a practical solution quickly evolved into a product trusted by artists, performers, photographers, and models across the country.

Every set of NXP Pasties is handcrafted and individually tested before packaging to ensure consistent quality, reliable adhesion, and clean removal. Before entering production, NXP products were rigorously tested by body painters, photographers, and professional models throughout the United States.
